Use this page to control how free trials are offered, limited, and protected from abuse.

Trial Settings

Enable Trial Requests

Turn this on to allow customers to request trial accounts from your website and bots.

Trial Duration (hours)

Defines how long each trial remains active.

Activation Token Extra Days

Number of days the activation link remains valid after the trial expires. This allows users to convert a trial into a paid activation after it ends.

Max Trials Per Day

Limits how many trials can be created system-wide per day. Leave blank for unlimited.

Free Trial Product

Select the product assigned to trial activations. This determines what the user receives when a trial is created.

Anti-Abuse & Rate Limiting

Pause Trials When Degraded

Automatically disables trial requests if anti-abuse systems detect issues. Requires at least one anti-abuse API to be configured.

Rate Limit (per IP/hour)

Maximum number of trial requests allowed from a single IP address per hour.

Rate Limit (per IP/day)

Maximum number of trial requests allowed from a single IP address per day.

Abstract API Key

Used for disposable email detection. Helps block temporary or invalid email addresses. You can obtain a free API key from Abstract.

ProxyCheck API Key

Used for VPN and proxy detection. Helps prevent abuse from masked or high-risk IP addresses. Free API keys are available.

If no APIs are configured, Panelr uses built-in detection for proxies, disposable emails, and Tor exit nodes. This provides basic protection, but is not as robust as using the external API services.
