A playlist editor sits on top of your panel. With one connected, the panel still makes the line, then Panelr makes the matching customer in the editor and gives your customer the editor's login. The editor account is your own. Leave this off if you don't use one.
Turn it on
- Go to Settings → Panel Plugin and open the service.
- In Playlist Editor, switch on This service uses a playlist editor.
- Pick the Editor and fill in its details (below).
- Leave Give customers the same username and password on both on to keep the editor login the same as the panel line.
- Press Save Editor Settings, then Sync Editor.
What each editor asks for
- PlaylistLabs.io / IPTVEditor.com: your API token. It belongs to one playlist, so there's no address to type.
- PlaylistLabs.io on your own server: the Panel address, an API token made in your panel, its Token password if it has one, and then the Playlist.
- IPTV Boss: the Server address customers connect to and an API key from the IPTV Boss console. After saving, choose the Default layout and the Source.
Good to know
- The editor's categories become the service's bouquets.
- If the editor can't be reached, the sale still goes through. Panelr finishes the editor side when it can and emails you if it's still failing after an hour.
- With IPTV Boss, the optional Panelr for IPTV Boss add-on lets customers pick their own categories. Add its Category picks key and switch on Let customers pick their own categories.
